Initial Consultation
Your pet’s first visit includes an evaluation using Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) as well as acupuncture.
Usually 60-75 minutes.

Follow-Up Visit
Repeat visits include re-assessment of your pet in addition to acupuncture.
Usually 30-45 minutes.

Travel Fees
In-home visits may be requested and the travel fee starts at $3 per mile from Battle Ground, WA. In-clinic visits, located in Brush Prairie, WA, are available to small animals at no additional charge.

Additional Services
Other services may be offered during your pet’s appointment, like B12 injections, for an additional fee.
Dr. Emily Olsen
Dr. Emily Olsen graduated from veterinary school at Michigan State University in 2011, earning her DVM. She has been practicing small animal (dog and cat) medicine, surgery, and dentistry in Washington state since 2016. In February 2025, she completed training in veterinary acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine for dogs, cats and horses. In September 2025, she received full certification for veterinary acupuncture (CVA) through the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society. Dr. Olsen also has a background in canine physical therapy and has previously worked in facilities offering alternative therapies. She currently offers acupuncture for pets in SW Washington on a limited schedule while working full-time in general private practice.
